The School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences (CDIS) at UW-Madison was launched in 2019 and brings together the top ranked departments of Computer Sciences (#17), Statistics (#13), and the Information School (#11). CDIS is lighting the way forward for research and discovery, magnifying the power of medicine, engineering, agriculture, business and more. CDIS is educating versatile, multi-talented graduates across all majors on campus—who form a uniquely prepared talent pipeline that is driving economic growth in the region and beyond.
